The focus of this book deals with God\u2019s \u201ctime past\u201d program with Israel giving a basic understanding what God created Israel for; what His plan and purpose is with them. This \u2018running survey\u2019 starts with the book of Genesis and finishes with the early part of the Lord\u2019s earthly ministry. It will provide a basic survey of God\u2019s word concerning the outworking of His plan and purpose with Israel taught \u201crightly divided\u201d giving a better understanding and backdrop, so to speak, in God\u2019s \u201cnow\u201d time program and dealings with us today.<\/p>\n

This series of lessons is composed of 2 sections. The first is a short, 4 lesson introductory section dealing with the Bible itself for what it is. There are a number of things about the Bible itself that it is important for children to understand and appreciate. The second section is extensive and composed of 80 lessons in which a \u2018running survey\u2019 is accomplished. It starts with the book of Genesis and finishes with the early part of the Lord\u2019s earthly ministry; including His early boyhood, \u2018signs ministry\u2019, prayer and the parables.<\/p>\n

A basic Biblical theology will be provided for the children as they follow the Bible through from Genesis to the Gospels \u2018rightly dividing the word of truth.\u2019 They will come to appreciate the sense of the lay out of the Bible as they follow God\u2019s \u201ctime past\u201d program and dealings with the nation of Israel.<\/p>\n
